The Process

 

Each preserved flower, leaf or an insect was personally hand-picked on my (Kuhoo's) walks/hikes because of it's peculiar and interesting qualities.

• First, it takes a couple of weeks/months to dry the botanicals into a state ready for fossilization.

• Then these botanicals are meticulously handcrafted into one-of-a-kind  articles of jewelry or whatever strikes my imagination. It takes about a couple of months to sometimes, seasons to craft one piece, a remembrance of my time with the nature.

In the past year, since ShopKuhoo was founded, I have managed to discover almost 70 different species of flowers around the valley of Dehradun, where I reside currently.
